Objects with a second life

A container can outlive its original purpose. Looking at proportion, weight and stability before decoration helps us imagine what an object could become next.

Keep the useful part

This is a design exercise, not a product or recycling claim. The sample objects are fictional.

A small observation can be the beginning of a larger story.

Try this

• Start with something close at hand.
• Write down one detail you would usually miss.
• Return later and see what changed.
